PAY PAL
John's Magic Shop accepts all major debit and credit cards through Pay Pal. This method of payment is completely, 100%, secure as it uses 128 - bit encryption for all transactions. Your card details are not shared with anyone not even with us. Please note that although you may be given the option it is not necessary to sign up to a Pay Pal account; you can shop at John's Magic Shop with out signing up to Pay Pal.
NOCHEX
As an alternative method of payment for UK customers only, we also accept all major debit and credit cards through NOCHEX, up to a maximum amount of £100 per transaction. All Nochex transactions are checked for participation with 3D Secure – the leading ‘internet authentication protocol’ designed by Visa and MasterCard. Please note that customers do not need to sign up for a NOCHEX account to use this method of payment. Payments sent to 'John's Magic Shop' will show up as 'Nochex' on your bank or card statements and not as 'John's magic Shop'.
CHEQUES
John's Magic Shop only accepts cheques from UK customers using UK bank accounts. All cheques must be cleared, about 4 working days, before goods are dispatched.
INVOICE
On completion of the check out process, just print out your order form and send it to us with your cheque or postal order. Postage and Packaging PACKAGING
We use only good quality packaging materials and continually monitor prices to keep packaging prices low.
UNITED KINGDOM
ROYAL MAIL FIRST CLASS
WE DO NOT CHARGE A FLAT RATE FEE. INSTEAD WE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE WEIGHT OF THE ITEM AUTOMATICALLY, IN ORDER TO KEEP DOWN COSTS. INCLUDES POSTAGE & PACKAGING
Most items are dispatched through Royal Mail by First Class Delivery or Recorded Delivery and should arrive the next day. However, we are not responsible for any delays or losses incurred by Royal Mail or any other carrier. Heavier items are dispatched using Royal Mail Standard parcels which can take between 3 and 5 days to be delivered. We always obtain 'proof of posting' for each parcel dispatched.
ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY
FEE IS SET ACCORDING TO THE WEIGHT OF THE ITEM WHICH IS CALCULATED AUTOMATICALLY ON CHECK OUT: FOR UPTO 1PM DELIVERY INCLUDES POSTAGE & PACKAGING
This option guarentees delivery before 1pm the following working day, Monday to Friday. Saturday deliveries are possible but are not guarenteed. A signature is required on receipt of goods.
All items are dispatched between 1 and 3 working days following receipt of order, most orders are dispatched the next day. We do not dispatch items on Saturday and Sunday.
COURIER
We now offer a door to door courier service. The cost is £3.99 for all parcels up to 2kg. The courier aims to deliver within 3 to 5 business days.
EUROPE
All items sent outside of the UK are sent by Royal Mail Airmail or International Signed For services for items £25 and above. The cost of this service depends on the weight of the item, which is calculated at check out. Delivery to Europe normally takes up to 5 working days. We do not currently ship to countries outside the EEC.
Once the order is dispatched it is Royal Mail's responsibility to deliver it. If an item is lost or damaged, we will assist the buyer to make a claim to Royal Mail by providing all necessary receipts and 'proof of posting'. A package is not considered lost by Royal Mail until 15 days after date od posting.
Returns Policy We want our customers to have complete confidence when purchasing magic products from 'John's Magic Shop'. However, please do bear in mind that you are purchasing a 'magic secret' first and foremost and not just a product. With this proviso in mind we will only refund the full purchase price of the item if either rarely it is found to be faulty or if the item is completely unopened and still in its original packaging.
Before returning your item, please email us within 7 days of receiving the item to obtain a 'returns code'. The buyer is responsible for all return postage and additonal packaging costs. The buyer must obtain a 'proof of posting' certificate at the time of mailing from the post office - this is free of charge. We strongly advise that in addition, the buyer uses a trackable service such as 'recorded delivery'. We are not responsible for items sent to us that are either lost in the post or are received damaged.
Upon receipt of the item, in the same condition as it left us, we will refund the full purchase cost of the item within 14 working days. We do not refund postage and packaging costs.
